A Home Heating Test is a test performed to investigate if any of the internal radiators in your home are leaking. This is a popular test carried out prior to home purchase to investigate the integrity of the radiators.

The majority of houses in Ireland have a header tank for the heating located in the attic of the house. During the ‘Heating Test’, the water level in the tank is measured and after a period of time the water level is measured again and if this water level drops there is a good chance there is a leak in the system.
